Ghazaleh Baniahmad is a Toronto-based artist who reflects on the journey of her family as immigrants. She juxtaposes her Iranian historical and cultural identity with her new adapting culture in Canada. Baniahmad focuses on her very personal experiences which aim to create sympathy and compassion. Through her everyday experiences, Baniahmad strives to connect with her audience regardless of nationality and geographical border.
