Mahshid Asoudehkhah is a graphic designer, painter and illustrator. Growing up in Rasht, a rainy city in the northern part of Iran, has heavily influenced her childhood memories and has carried through her artwork. Her childhood home with its rose garden, her rag doll, the sound of rain and memories of her mom, all hold strong presence in her work. Using mixed-media and ink drawing, Asoudehkhah blurs the line between dream and reality. Her work is a nostalgic manifestation of her childhood memories
